Catalinbread CB Paint Late 1900s Reverberator Pedal
TONE: Controls a 2-pole low-pass filter for softening high peaks, working just like a tone control. Up is bright, down is dark.
MIX: Controls the balance between dry signal (your original instrument) and wet signal (the CB Paint reverb effect). Minimum outputs only the dry input signal, while maximum outputs only the reverberated signal.
ONSET (Pre-Delay): On the CB Paint, this control adjusts how long it takes for the reverb to begin after playing. Instant at minimum, up to 200 ms delay at maximum. In Gate mode it sets gate time; in Reverse mode it adjusts reverse smear.
MODE: 8-way selector with classic Microverb patches. Modes 1–6 offer increasing room size and decay, Mode 7 delivers gated reverb, and Mode 8 provides a unique reverse-style reverb effect.
POWER REQUIREMENTS: CB Paint operates on a 9V DC center-negative power supply with at least 63 mA of current. Using incorrect power (center-positive or AC) may damage the pedal and void the warranty.
